Mysterio Predicts T-shirts

These are possibly the cutest baby gifts I’ve ever seen…

Forget rattles, teddies and plain white playsuits - Mysterio Predicts T-shirts are the must-have gift for any fashion-conscious tiddler.

Each t-shirt comes wrapped in a little muslin bag, so you won’t know what Mysterio predicts for the baby’s future until you open the bag (although you can of course choose either a baby girl’s t-shirt or a baby boy’s t-shirt).

If the baby’s a girl, she may grow up to be:

  • An air hostess
  • A TV presenter
  • A personal shopper
  • A shoe designer
  • A catwalk model
  • A clairvoyant

If you buy the boy’s t-shirt, Mysterio predicts the little lad will build a career for himself as:

  • A milkman
  • A tax inspector
  • A skiing instructor
  • A property tycoon
  • A plastic surgeon
  • A game show host

Mysterio Predicts T-shirts are available in size 0-6 months and are utterly adorable.

Fans of the BBC show Dragon’s Den will no doubt remember the YouDoo Doll - Deborah Meaden was so impressed with it, she became an investor and helped market the product.

The YouDoo Doll is a clever little product which would make a great gift for just about anybody.

It comes in kit form and includes a blank t-shirt; the idea is that you print off a photo of someone’s face onto a transfer and iron it onto the doll, and you then design and create a personalised t-shirt for it to wear.

I’ve been looking at dry-wipe boards for the office lately, but so far I haven’t found any that are the right size and are magnetic as well as wipeable - not without spending a fortune, at any rate.

This magnetic black board is actually a better option than a dry-wipe board, I reckon, because for a start it doesn’t require any special pens - just a bit of good old-fashioned chalk, which is way cheaper than dry-wipe pens.

At A3 it’s the pefect size for the little bit of wall I currently have available - and being magnetic, it’s ideal for keeping safe all those little scraps of paper that have a tendency to disappear, like phone numbers and dental appointment cards.

It’s also a really handy product for the home; hung on the wall in the kitchen, it’s a useful place to make a quick shopping list, or hung by the ‘phone it’s great for taking down messages or keeping takeaway menus handy.

The Magnetic Black Board makes a great gift for kids, too… when I was small, my little blackboard on its easel was one of my favourite toys, and of course it helps children practise their reading and writing, so it’s educational as well as fun.

Back in the ’70s (how long ago it seems now), if you didn’t have a Spacehopper you were, frankly, weird.

If you’ve ever broken down on a poorly lit road and haven’t had a torch to hand, you’ll appreciate the usefulness of the spotlight torch.

In fact, the spotlight torch has so many potential uses, once you’ve bought one you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.

The spotlight torch is a boon for passengers as well as drivers - possible uses include:

  • Rummaging around in your handbag for your phone/lipstick/other essential item
  • Reading a map or written directions
  • Aim the spotlight torch at the floor while you pick up all the sweeties that annoyingly exploded from the packet when you opened it
  • Illuminate your book or newspaper on a particularly dull journey
  • Changing tyres and other emergency repairs

The spotlight torch takes just 7 hours to fully charge in your car’s cigarette lighter socket, and once charged, its super-bright beam will keep shining for up to 120 minutes.  It’s also submersible, so if it gets wet it’ll carry on working.
